Tagaytay. The coolest place close to the city.

Tagaytay. The coolest place close to the city.add to favorites
Straight from work, we hit the highlands yesterday. Yeah! I love Tagaytay and I just can't get enough of it. Why? Because...
tagaytay taal volcano
Need I say more? Haha! I can't help it so I have to brag more about it.

  1. Taal Volcano. Most obvious reason - it's the home of the magnificent Taal Volcano. Well. not technically, but as you can see... you'll get a panoramic view of the "smallest volcano on earth" in Tagaytay. Just bring your handy cams and you nature lovers will get the most out of your trip!
  2. Finest Dining Experience. Food trip! 2 things I love about Tagaytay: Taal and Bulalo! I'm not exaggerating, but here is the place where you can totally satisfy your taste buds with the mouth-watering bulalo. It's close to a beef stew for those who doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about. The hot soup will warm you up against the cool breeze of Tagaytay and quench your hunger while you saying... holy moly! That's good! Where can you get Bulalo? Virtually, anywhere! But my best recommendation will be Dencio's. And for those food afficionados, you can also try their famous Crispy Sisig.
  3. Gaming and Recreation. Casino Filipino is right here. For those searching for a different and exciting way of enjoyment, you can drop by the casino and spend some pesos. One thing though, have a peso limit in mind. Allot a specific max amount you can spend in "playing". The slot machine is fun. It's like playing in an arcade where you just insert coins and press some buttons and hey you can win some cash. If you have that beginner's luck like me, you'll never regret your visit to the casino. Just a reminder, have a leash on yourself. Don't make it a habit! lol!
  4. Close to the city, affordable, no pollution. Manila is too crowded and I hate to say this... our skyline is not improving. Oftentimes I can't stand the sweltering heat of the city and always on the lookout for a place of relaxation and Tagaytay is the place! Just an hour or two of driving, you'll get to Tagaytay. 2 or more hours counting heavy traffic. One thousand pesos for the money conscious is enough. It will cover your gas, meal, and etc. expenses. Entrance fee to parks like Picnic Grove is so cheap! P25 a head if I'm not mistaken.

A place to stay is not a problem. In fact, there are lots and lots of retreat houses in Tagaytay because this city of wonders have most peaceful and quiet places to offer even hotels and resorts without you worrying about the cost. We once checke in into a hotel and it only cost us less than 2K pesos for an overnight stay.

I have lots of other things to mention on this space but I think you get the idea and anyway my eyelids are starting to complain so I better get to bed. So what ya waiting for? Come and visit Tagaytay!
